Haven, Ampang Look Out Point

If you like to enjoy just the ambience of a restaurant, then Haven is the place to bring family, a significant other or just friends. It is actually  on a small hill at the edge of KL city.  There are various restaurants which shows off the panoramic view of KL city skyline as the backdrop.I do not think many people know of this place, but it is definitely a good place, just to chill out.
One of the reasons that you should come out here is the wonderful view that you get to experience while dining. In terms of the food, it is nothing to shout about, but the view is 100% excellent, and to die for...
You can actually get good and affordable food here, in contrary to popular beliefs that restaurants at Look-out Point is mediocre and expensive.

My hubby and I had the mushroom soup as our appetizer. It could be because I am a fan of mushroom soup, but I found the soup delicious. Not to forget that, it was a rainy day, and bowl of mushroom soup was indeed what I needed. Nevertheless, the mushroom soup was nothing like the watery soup served at Pizza Hut, yucks...It was served with garlic bread, drizzled with a little olive oil, which was a splendid combination.

For the main course, I had the Combo Grill, and hubby opted for the Lamb Chop. My combo grill came with pieces of grilled lamb, chicken, salmon, corn and was served with butter rice and potato salad. Hubby's Lamb Chop was above average. It was served on top of some grilled veges, with  mushroom sauce. The food was was okay, and coupled with the fantastic view, it was a great experience.

We ended our eating spree, with the Tiramisu, which I did enjoy so much, that forgot to take the photo.
In sum, Haven is a nice place to go, just for the sake of the view, and hang out point with friends and family.
