Breakfast at Day to Day, Puchong.

On a Sunday morning, we decided to go for breakfast somewhere near
Puchong.  There is this simple, typical family restaurant situated in Bandar Puchong Jaya. The things that interest me, is the variety of the breakfast there, and the good service. The owner himself, takes the initiative to mingle with the customers.

Our morning beverage, "Teh-O"(tea without milk), Milo and BRU coffee, which another brand of coffee, which is stronger than Nescafe.

Nasi Lemak

The "nasi lemak bungkus" which is pre-packed rice cooked in coconut milk, accompanied with spicy anchovies, hard boiled egg and cucumber. This common breakfast, is best savoured with a spicy "sambal" . My husband had the nasi lemak and said it was fairly good.
My son had the "roti bom", which was filled with "kaya", a type of coconut egg jam, popular in Malaysia and Singapore.

My breakfast was the "appam", a type of Indian pancake, served with coconut milk. The "appam" they serve in Day-to-Day Restaurant, taste like how they make it at home. They are generous with the ingredients.

My husband also ordered their "Masala Thosai", which is another type of pancake, but is of a savoury version. It is filled with mixed vegetables and potatoes, and served with dhall curry and spicy chutney.

In short, Day-to-Day Restaurant is very simple restaurant suitable for a family.
